This map layer contains results from the Santa Rosa County Sea Level Rise Vulnerability Assessment, developed through the Resilient Florida Program. The dataset identifies and visualizes infrastructure, transportation networks, natural resources, and community assets that may be vulnerable to modeled coastal flooding and sea level rise scenarios. It supports planning, risk communication, and decision-making by highlighting assets that may warrant adaptation, mitigation, or further evaluation. |

This map image layer contains the results of the Santa Rosa County Sea Level Rise Vulnerability Assessment, developed through the Resilient Florida Program. The dataset identifies and displays infrastructure, transportation networks, natural resources, and community assets that may be vulnerable to modeled coastal flooding and sea level rise scenarios. It supports planning, risk communication, and decision-making by highlighting assets that may warrant adaptation strategies, mitigation planning, or further evaluation.

To improve usability and map performance, assets with similar geometry types were consolidated into three datasets: points, lines, and polygons. Each feature contains attribute information describing the asset type, asset class, modeled flood impacts under multiple sea level rise scenarios, and overall priority ranking.
|

This map image layer is provided for informational and planning purposes. The data represent modeled flood conditions and should not be interpreted as predictions of specific future events, regulatory floodplain determinations, engineering surveys, property-level assessments, or guarantees of actual flood depth or extent.

Results are based on the best available data, modeling methods, and assumptions at the time of the assessment. Flood conditions may vary due to rainfall, storm characteristics, shoreline changes, drainage conditions, topography, future development, and other factors. Maximum flood depths associated with an asset may represent localized conditions and should not be interpreted as uniform across the entire feature.

Santa Rosa County makes no warranties regarding the completeness, accuracy, or suitability of the data for a particular purpose. Users are responsible for independently verifying the information before using it for engineering, regulatory, emergency-management, financial, or property-related decisions. Santa Rosa County and the Florida Department of Environmental Protection shall not be held liable for decisions or actions resulting from use of the layer.

Public display or redistribution should retain the dataset credits and attribution. Features identified as restricted from public disclosure are not included in the publicly available layer.
|
