Title: Santa Rosa County Vulnerability Assessment
Author:
Comments: This dataset represents the spatial results of the Santa Rosa County Sea Level Rise Vulnerability Assessment, conducted under the Florida Department of Environmental Protection’s Resilient Florida Program. The assessment evaluates potential impacts to critical infrastructure, transportation assets, government facilities, natural resources, and community features under multiple coastal flood scenarios and planning horizons.Flood exposure was modeled to estimate inundation depth across the county, and assets intersecting these flood extents were identified and evaluated. Impacted assets were subsequently ranked using a prioritization framework that incorporates asset criticality, exposure severity, and timing of impact to identify assets most vulnerable to sea level rise and coastal flooding. The resulting dataset provides a spatial inventory of impacted assets along with associated vulnerability metrics and prioritization scores. These results are intended to support local resilience planning, infrastructure management, and long-term adaptation strategies in Santa Rosa County.
Subject: This map displays the results of the Santa Rosa County Sea Level Rise Vulnerability Assessment, developed as part of the Resilient Florida Program. The purpose of this dataset is to identify and visualize infrastructure, transportation networks, natural resources, and community assets that may be vulnerable to future coastal flooding and sea level rise. The map supports planning, risk communication, and decision-making by highlighting areas and assets that may require adaptation strategies, mitigation planning, or further evaluation.
