Description: This dataset is a polyline layer of all streets/roads in Santa Rosa County, Legacy attributes are included to support historical accuracy but will be retired when the Emergency Management Department moves to NextGeneration 911 dispatching. This layer includes county maintained roads, private roads, medians, roads that will provide routing either to individual structures or through parking lots. This data was produced by the BOCC Computer Department for the Santa Rosa County Commission. Data may have been partially derived from analysis of aerial photography that was flown in January, 2001, & Feb/Mar 2005, 2010, 2012, 2016, 2019, 2021, and any available imagery online. County maintained streets have also be located using GPS technology. Street names, geometry, surface type, maintainer and other related feature information is updated daily, or as needed based on newly created or closed roads, other agency information, and other factors.
