Description: This dataset is an ArcGIS Shapefile representing Accident Potential Zones for US Navy Airfields and Peter Prince Field in Santa Rosa County, Florida. This data was produced for the US Navy and the Community Planning, Zoning and Development Division, Santa Rosa County by Harman and Associates, selected consultant for the Joint Land Use Project. Data was developed using the existing Accident Potential Zones that were available in paper copy. Dataset edited on April 29, 2013 to adjust Runway Protection Zone at Peter Prince Airfield. Definition describes protection zone as starting at the end of the primary surface; moved approximately 200' out to line up with the primary surface; mavance, P&Z. Dataset was edited on June 24, 2013 to add the Approach Surface to the Runway Protection Zone at Peter Prince Airfield. There are height restrictions within the Approach Zone so the data was added to insure staff appropriately evaluates sites in the approach surface floor area.
