Description: This layer contains the Water Franchise Areas that are legally defined as well as the City of Milton Water Service Area and the Navarre Beach Utilities Service Area. All water areas combined for ease of use when referencing or map making.Polygon dataset of "legal"water franchise areas, begun in 2004, checked/adjusted to new legal descriptions in Jan 2007. Areas drawn from legal descriptions provided by water districts and county attorney. Town of Jay has no legal description so map provided to them, boundaries drawn using their map.
