Description: GPS locations of fire hydrants within SRC FL. There are regular hydrants, flush hydrants, reuse hydrants and re-use flush hydrants in this data layer. Those hydrants tied to commercial buildings which have an exterior access are not included in this layer. Hydrant location as well as hydrant type, make/model, serial numbers, flow rates and other information are kept up to date as information is obtained from the fire districts or servicing water franchises. Private hydrants do occur in this layer but are only added as their information is made available to GIS staff.
