<abstract>This dataset is an ArcGIS Shapefile representing the existing noise contours for US Navy Airfields and Peter Prince Field in Santa Rosa County, Florida. This data was produced for the US Navy and the Community Planning, Zoning and Development Division, Santa Rosa County by Harman and Associates, selected consultant for the Joint Land Use Project. Data was developed using the noise contours that were available in paper copy.</abstract>
<purpose>Airfield Noise Contours. This dataset is to be used to provide vector data for zoning analysis in Santa Rosa County. The dataset is also to be used for planning purposes for various county and private agencies and to provide GIS feature mapping.</purpose>

<supplinf>Attribute added 11-17-04 labeled Environ Zone for coding that is compatible with the Land Development Code.
Dataset was modified July, 2010 to incorporate Eglin Air Force Base's JLUS Study which included air operations at NOLF Choctaw and the perimeter of the Eglin AFB Reservation. Noise contours at NOLF Choctaw were provided by Tetra Tech, consultant for the Eglin JLUS. Line were appended to existing shapefile. No Environ Zone will exist for these lines as that terminology precedes this dataset.</supplinf>
